This policy explains what personal information 6Analytix Consultancy collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to be read rather than to cover us, so if anything here is unclear please ask.

Who we are

6Analytix Consultancy is a data and analytics consultancy. Our office is at Musa Yar’Adua Expressway (Airport Road), Lugbe District, Abuja, Nigeria. For any question about this policy or about information we hold, contact us at 6analytixconsultancy@gmail.com.

What we collect, and when

When you contact us

Our contact form asks for your name, work email address, an optional company name, and a message describing what you need. We also record which page you were on when you sent it, because that tells us what you were reading and helps us give a more useful reply.

That information is emailed to us and also stored in this website’s database so that an enquiry is not lost if the email fails to arrive. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to carry on that conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not enrol you in an automated sequence, and we do not sell or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

When you simply read the site

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no visitor tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are or which pages you read.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you.

Cookies

We set no advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress, the software this site runs on, may set a small number of functional cookies, for example to keep a form submission secure. If you log in to administer the site it will set session cookies, which only applies to our own team.

Third parties

We keep these to a minimum. The ones that apply are:

• Google Fonts. Typefaces on this site are served by Google, which means your browser requests them from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Our hosting provider. They store this website and its database, including anything you send through the contact form.
• Our email provider. Enquiries are delivered to us by email and are therefore stored in our mailbox.

How long we keep things

Enquiries are kept for as long as there is a reasonable prospect of working together, and then for as long as we need them for our own records. If you ask us to delete your enquiry we will do so, and we will confirm when it is done.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Email 6analytixconsultancy@gmail.com and we will respond within thirty days. You do not need to give a reason.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator. If you are in the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office. If you are in Nigeria that is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the enquiry records is limited to people at 6Analytix who need it. We are a data consultancy, so we will say plainly that no system is perfectly secure, and if something went wrong that affected your information we would tell you.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
